   Hahs, i am right! It’s week 4 now, had been struggling to troubleshoot da

  circuit board, nothing seems to goes wrong, but i was stucked for 2 weeks.

                             Glad that, it’s working perfectly well now.

    If nothing should crops up, da slides should able to be done by next week.

     About this project, i can say it is simply too simple. But, if i’m really

                    gonna present the adapter to someone, it’s not easy.   

                                         Confusing, huh? Heex … 

  It’s cold sweating! The lecturers are very sharp. Nevertheless, questions they

                                    shoot are EXTRA-ordinary.

                One word, it’s CRUCIOUS! Whether or not it is simple, 

               i shan’t missed every part of da connection it is functioning.

                                 *shakes my head and sigh so loudly*

                       So now, da programme is able to read and write

               with da after-hard-work-been-done JTAG adapter interface.

                     Of course, someone did gave me a helping hand,

                                and he’s definitely meow meow:P

  Remember when i did da soldering, i needed a hand to hold da board for me

             so badly, so that i can steadily glue da components up nicely.

                                        At that point in time,

  someone just strucked my mind, and he’s meow meow. He has his project

          to do also, yet, he’d tried all means to come up to my lab station,

                      as i complained that i can’t sort da wires myself.

                                                I’m delighted …

PS: The cybertai.com has been blocked!! No more bloggings in school … NYP is  getting more and more incorrigible. One day, block everything lah! Hahs.

   Ji-pun(Japan) is having a summer sales. Shoes, clothes, food are attractive

     with their price brought soo low! I can simply get a nice and limited edition

                            Adidas shoes at around S$90 plus minus.

     Compare to 2 years back, It is not as exaggerative expensive already.

                       This is when you can spree all you want there.

                  Spend and calculate wisely, and it’ll be a great deal!

                                                      BUT …

   I spent only an amount of S$61 there, exclusive of da borrowings from dad.

                             I had only 4 000 yen in my wallet then.

                          And all i brought home, was CHOCOLATE.

                                      Sigh  ………   Why arH?

            Why am i forever soo muddle-headed. Forgot this and that …

                 on da streets? people stole it?  why didn’t i just donate it,

                    if i knew that i have to give it to someone eventually.

                                              I thought to myself.

                   I didn’t really enjoy a full pleasant trip apprantly,

                          when i realised i’d my 10 000 yen note lost.

                                      It’s about S$140 i guess so.

                                           There goes my spree.

               Moodless to even get anything for the underservingly me.

        Which is why, i tried all i can to get nice chocolates for my friends.

              For peeps who didn’t receives da candies, i’m so so sorry:(

                          i know … this is da second time already.

      I keep questioning myself da whole evening, until i’m so convinced

                          that i really can’t handle money at all.

            Mom asked me what i had on mind to buy, i shook my head.

        Come to think again, I might as well enjoy da trip i’m going to have for

             da next few days instead of brooding over da money issues.

  Thankfully, Dad sponsors me quite alot, despite i only treat him to a Japanese

                                  fastfood pizza for Father’s Day.

    I didn’t realise da money was gone then, until i went ahead to shop for

                        souveniors in some shops at the 8th prince.

                       I paid for S$60 plus and da rest Dad settled.

           If not, i wouldn’t be even getting myself da chocolates at all.

         Dad even additionally gave me another S$100, so that i won’t feel

                                        so much heart pinchings.

                               Thank you, Dad! But no need la.

Anyways, leng leng, my cousin celebrated her birthday in Japan as well. We had

       a late lunch in Tokyu Square, after landing. And it was Aunt’s treat!

            Doorstep of da restuarant, digi cam’s batt was running low!!

            I thought it was okay then, for i’ve brought da charger along.

                                I can charge it anytime in my room.

            BUT hell! My 2-pin adpater doesn’t fit into da socket at all! 

                       Nevermind, i go get another socket to fit in.

         Then again, da maximum voltage supply in da hotel is ONLY 100V.

    I almost faint when i look at that stupid label stating, for safety purposes.

                                Ya ya ya … so easily catch fire huh.

                                             Laughs out LOUD!

     meow meow, it’s ANOTHER 25th.*hugs* i hope, you’ll love da presents:)

       Just started solderings (it’s like glue-ing da components onto da board)

   only this morning, then i’d finished what i have to finish in a hour plus time.

      I have no idea of what to do next cos my supervisor said afternoon then

                                   we’ll start looking into da details.

Fixing da components well and aligned then solder, really tested my patience.

            I did it all one by one, slowly and steadily. And it’s all becos …

         It’s better to be safe than sorry! Since I’m hands on-ing on hardware!!

                        I ALMOST got my hand burnt, it was soo close …

     Hehs, but nevertheless, i’d managed to finish it. And what i’m left with

                         now, is da parallel port and JTAG connector.

  wiiao … felt some accomplishment! Afterall, i’ve lost touch with da soldering

                                    skills for like 3 years plus already.

      Take a look at da "so-called" adapter, da one you maybe using to charge

                                    your handphoony right now!

                                 It’s a semi-done work piece though.

      In da later part, i’ll have to get da parallel port and JTAG fixed, that is

               far alot more to go, i’ll take a long day to finish up, i think.

                    This circuit board will connect one side to da CPU,

            and the other to the target board for some programming usage.

                   Honestly, I’m not exactly clear about da whole picture.

               My mind just shut off after 10 mins of application readings.

                             I totally have no clue of what it is about.

                                              And do you know …

     breathing solder too oftenly is really bad for health, just like smoking.

          And that’s why, there’s this mini-exhaust system here to show you!

                    To all smokers out there, you’ll need this at home,

                                    but use it at your own risk:D

  And so, after which i’d done with the above, i’m gonna test da circuit board.

        If it’s working, i shall proceed. Otherwise, i’ll be all stucked, continue

        da researchings, more and lots more of trial and errors to be done!

                I’m looking foward for tomorrow, it’s shopping spree time!

                          i’m gonna spend my weekends in Japan:D

               There’s some film shooting goin on around da lab just now.

                        My lab seems to be da first scenario to capture.

                                   At around 9am, they hopped in.

                        MANY extras was here to fill up the empty seats.

                   Pretending we’re working on with the Final Year Project,

                                               which is SO FAKE.

I was put to another seat where Herman, da lab technician has to stand besides

                                   next to me act like talking to me.

                                              What is what, man!

       And so, we chatted as they do their capturings. Having to ignore da

      seriousness atmosphere, I almost made him laugh out by making a joke

                out of it. The project supervisor made a ‘Shh’ to alert us.

     Just then, i realised da crew are actually students from IT ( a red stripe

             landyard around their neck, since red differenciates it’s IT ).

          Everything went fine, and about 20 mins ,they left for another lab.

And then, this morning i showed Mdm Chang (my proj supervisor) da schematic

                                     diagram i did in da lab yesterday.

          Wasn’t very sure is that the IC pin labels she wanted it printed

  on the schematic, i just show her. Thankfully, she nodded and said, ‘yes, yes’.

                It’s just yesterday, around 4pm, she finally have some time

                             to drop by and assign me something to do.

                 She’d also explained the overview of the circuit board,

            so that gives me a rough idea it is functioning like an adapter.   

                      I’m also told to find out what’s JTAG and FlashROM.

                                           Blah … blah … blah …

      So then I managed to finish up before 6pm, and today will continue with

     da soldering part, which again, have to wait, until i get da components.

            oh no, i’ve said so much … so sorry peeps, this is  a boring topic:P

                           But, it’s lunch break now! So i’ll just stop here.

               Gonna get some bites with da guys, not soo hungry though …

                but at least i can get out of da lab and give myself a break!

  School has blocked this website actually, thus i shouldn’t be even accessing to

                     friendster at any point in time i’m da school lab.

                              BUT. There is always a key to the door.

                            that there’s an internet connection here.

       meow meow and me was randomly put into da same department, the

                                 Embedded Technology Centre(ETC).

                                             For some reasons,

   his project supervisor put him to da Biomedical block for a MAJOR project.

                 Whereby, i’m still all stucked in da Engineering block!

      But never mind, cos there’s still Lynn. She’s also at da same level as me.

                       That makes us so much easier to jio eachother

                           out for some fresh air breathing sessions!

                And now i have a morning, lunch and tea break kaki

            meow meow and Zhong Qing will come and eat with us as well.

      Alex’s another snake eater. He’s still as looney as before, refuses to

     attend classes because he thinks that it’s a waste of time sitting there

                            listening to things that he know nuts. haha!

    Met Xiao Lei outside her class today, we really missed eachother soo much!

              But at least, when some friends pass by, they’ll bother to give

                a hand gesture like ‘hi’ and even wave and smile to me.

                      That’s already enough to brighten up my day:D

                                          So i’m just being told … 

        I’ll not be touching anything until my project supervisor gives order.

          There were visitors dropping in earlier on, then someone "imply"

to me that to "act" like doing researches, reading da thick thick materials, just

                   don’t sit there doing what i’m doing NOW! Hahs …-_-"’

      Not to say much, many of my friends has in fact started their projects

               yesterday, and they are pretty still alright seems to be … 

  Cos when there’s no lab technicians around, you can actually start wandering.

             But i guess, my nightmare will comes only around week 4(July). 

                                         What makes me say so?

It is always the case .. by then, presentation and reports will be due on week 6!

                            i am da last minute kind of kan jiong spider.

                                     Let’s see how accurate i am:)      

                          I’ll be away for Japan, yet again, next Friday.

    Though my last visit was 2 years back, but i’m not feeling too excited like

     as though i’m there first time. It could be probably due to the crash with

         my school project. It’s a great opportunuty for me to take a deep

           breathe at the other side of a country before the nightmares:P

                         This trip probably takes about 4 days or so,

                               for i do not wish to FAIL my project.

        It is stated well cleared, said, if students were to absent for 7 days

                           without a valid reason considered fail FYP.

                              No personal leaves … blah blah blah ….

          Despite of all, dad and mom had arranged everything well for me,

                   to make sure we’ll be able to make an early come back.

            Guess i’m in some troubles of not knowing how to give an excuse.

         Later i’m going to look for my project supervisor, and i really hope

                                           she’ll grant me a day off!

                                Gooshh, it’s 5pm … another hour to go.

                             I’m so in loved with home cook day by day!

              I’m missing my home, tv, scv, internet and my bed so much:(

     wheE~! Had a great hell lot of funs catching up with LINKAGE yesterday.

                                it’s like ages since we meet up already …

        And the very happy me, received a big warm hug from da sweetest

                     and ultra thoughtful girl-friend, Soch In:)

This gesture, really reminds me of the very nice girls who takes very good care

      of me back in ITE. They really accepts me for who i am, back then.

         A pity that, time can never be rewinded back to the past. And this is

               what human has been dreaming off for now and then.

    Wee Hiong, Soch In, meow meow and mE are somewhat quite close

             friends (where meow meow and me were still friend only)

                     back when we’re in our ITE days. Even until now …

             we’ll still pretty enjoy da coffee-tea-talk cork sessions.

    tons of things to talk about within da years we haven’t got to meet up  …

                         And so, what is LINKAGE i’m talking about?

        blog it in da laters when i’m allowed to have some time to blog …

                       i think and i hope not i will spend most of my

        time blogging in da school lab. yes yes, as i’ve mentioned, in da LAB!

                          Tomorow is when i’ll start da lab torments.

               Doing things like research, research and MORE researches …

      c’mon, i’ve only just done with a 12 weeks long slacker’s job last Friday!

and it is fair enough to say, i’ve been resting for 3 months already, its time to

    wake up and start cracking for your FYP (Final Year Project), you GUN-DU!

  Here goes another 12 weeks! FYP comes, meaning nightmare’s approaching:(

           since of da comments i heard from are almost all complaints.

          umM so then, whatever it is going to be, i have to work hard.

                              becos since then, no pain, no gain.
